International Institute for Population Sciences (Deemed University) invites all students who want to take admission in PhD program.
PH.D. Admissions/Fellowship 2010 Eligibility criteria
The Candidate should have passed M. Phil /Master's degree in Population Studies from any recognized university with 55% marks.
PH.D. Admissions/Fellowship 2010 Fellowship:
The Institute provides Fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- per month for first and second years and Rs.14,000/- per month for third year respectively for Selected candidates. Each fellowship carries a contingency grant of Rs.10,000/- for the first two years and Rs. 20,500/- for the third year.
PH.D. Admissions/Fellowship 2010 Reservation:
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be considered as per the Government of India norms.
PH.D. Admissions/Fellowship 2010 Selection Process
(i) Selection will be made on the basis of performance of the candidates in an individual research proposal presentation, personal interview and past academic records.
(ii) The Institute gives preference to admit to its Ph.D. Programme, candidates who have M.Phil in Population Studies. Only short-listed candidates will be called for the presentation and interview.
(iii) The Institute shall not bear any travel expense of the candidates called for the presentation and interview.

(ii)Prescribed application form and information can be obtained by DD of Rs. Rs. 200/- dawn in favour of Director, IIPS, Mumbai payable at any nationalized Bank.
