CSIR will hold Joint CSIR-UGC Test for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship (NET) June 2010 on Sunday, the 21st June 2010. The training to the selected candidates is given under the guidance of expert faculty members of the University.

CSIR-UGC JET 2010 Eligibility criteria
The Candidate must be Indian for applying for the Entrance examination.
Eligibility for JRF (NET):
Candidate must be between 19 and 28 years of age.
Eligibility For LS (NET):
Candidate must be more than 19 years of age.
A candidate can apply either for 'JRF + Lectureship' or for 'Lectureship (LS) only'.
If a candidate is over-age for JRF (NET), will be considered for Lectureship (NET) only.
CSIR-UGC JET 2010 Pattern of Examination:
The exam will be divided in two parts.
Each part has to be completed in 2 and a half hour, thus total duration will be 5 hours.
Each part of the examination will be of 200 marks.
Negative marking scheme will be followed in the checking of the second paper.
