IAF Commissioned Officers is held by government of India for the unmarried Indian for Commissioned Office. It is held on the basis of entrance exam that is conducted by the Air Force department of India.

Eligibility:
- Must be between 20 to 23 years of age
- Must have following course:
a) Post-Graduate in English/Psychology/Defense Studies/Mathematics/ Physics/Statistics/Computer Science
b) BE in any discipline.
c) MBA with a combination of minimum of two subjects of Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, English, Psychology
d) Defense Studies at BA/B.Sc level
For Class 1 Graduate:
- Must be between 20 to 23 years of age.
- Graduated in MBA/ PGDBA course
For class 2 Graduate:
- Must be between 20 to 25 years of age
- Must be graduated in LLB three-year (or 5 years)
- LLB Candidates can only apply for Administrative Branch only.
For Accounts Branch:
- Must be between 20 to 25 years of age
- Must have degree form the following:
a) B Com/B Com (Hons) in I Division.
b) B Com/M Com with AICWA/Chartered/Registered or Incorporated Accountant
Examination Pattern:
The exam of IAF commission conducts Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test is held for the selection. The OIR test series are as:
- Psychological Test
- Group Test
Selection
The medical fitness test is held for the candidate selection. Male Candidates will function as Air Traffic Controllers (ATC)/Fighter Controllers (FC).
