Test of English as a Foreign Language is conducted by Educational Testing Service. It is held around the world. Its main aim is to examine the speaking and understanding American English. It is valid to 2 years after the TOEFL held.

 

Cost for taking TOEFL: US $165

 

How to apply:

 

The registration is happened on the website. Second method of registration is over telephone. Interested candidate can call 1-443-751-4862 and register here.

 

 

Examination Pattern:

The exam is held in four sections:

1. Reading section: There are 3-5 passages with 39 questions having 1 hour duration.
2. Listening section: It is a 2 student's conversation and 4 lectures or discussion which includes 6 passages containing 34 questions and having 50 minutes.
3. Speaking section: Must read a passage and put the point about the passage. Mainly there are 6 tasks in this part along with 6 questions having 20 minutes.
4. Writing section: There are passages to write. Having 2 tasks along with 2 questions with 55 minutes.
