Indian Air Force Permanent Commission Engineering invites for the admission in applications for Technical branch of Permanent Commission Officers. It is taken by Government of India and it is done on the basis of Entrance Test merit obtained.
Eligibility
- Must be between 18 to 28 years of age.
- Under 25 years of age, must be unmarried
- Must be physically and medically fit
- Should have Bachelor degree from a recognized University with 55% marks
- The graduation will be in any of the following:
a) Engineering Degree in Electronics/Telecommunication/Electrical/Electrical Communication/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Engineering
b) B.Tech in Radio Physics and Electronics
c) M.Sc. Physics with Electronics
d) M.Sc. Electronics
e) B.Sc. (PCM)
f) AMIE

Last date for the receipt of completely filled Application Forms: 1st Week of Sep, 2010
Date of commencement of exam: End of Oct, 2010
Exam Pattern and centers:
The exam will be held for test the Psychological view. The centers are as:
a) Dehradun
b) Mysore
c) Varanasi
Selection process:
Selection is done on the basis of Initial Screening Test called Engineering Knowledge Test. The short list id prepared on the basis of screen test. The selected candidates call for GD and PI. After that, the final selection is done.
