Indian Air Force invites man Indian to become as Airmen Musician Trade of IAF. It is an opportunities to become a Commissioned Officer in the Armed Forces. It is approved by Government of India.

 

Eligibility

 

1. Must be between 17 to 23 years of age.
2. Must have ability to read and write English
3. Pass 10+2 from any recognized board
4. Should have elementary knowledge of Arithmetic
5. Should able to play following instruments:

a)      Trumpet

b)      Bass

c)      Violin

d)      Saxophone

e)      Clarinet

f)        Euphonium

g)      Jazz Drum

h)      Piccolo

i)        Bass Trombone

j)        Key Board

 

Physical eligibility:

 

1. Minimum height is 167 cm
2. Chest length is 75cm and have 5 cm expansion
3. Vision of at least 6/12 in each eye with glasses or 6/6 in one eye and 6/36 in other eye with glasses.
4. Should have not any elementary disease

 

Selection process:

 

Selection is done on the basis of entrance exam. Candidate must clear the test that is taken by IAF department conducts English, Intelligence and General Awareness test. Then, selected candidates call for interview and Personality Test. Also must clear the medical test.
