Exam of IAF Pilots 2010

Indian Air Force (IAF) invites all Indian Candidates for the admission in Helicopter Pilots in Flying Branch. It is conducted by Government of India. Its main duration is 72 weeks and admission is held on the basis of the entrance exam. The exam is held in Jan/ Feb, 2010.

 

Eligibility

 

  1. Bachelor degree in any of the following:

a)      BSc {Physics/Maths) - 3 years

b)      BE - 4 years

c)      BSc (General) - 3 years with Physics and Maths

  1. Must be between 19 to 23 years of age.
  2. Must clear INS-B/PAB Test earlier, failed candidates are not eligible
  3. Glasses on a regular basis or having color/night blindness are not eligible

 

Physical Requirements:

For Male:

 

  1. Must have 162.5cm height
  2. Must have leg length in between 99 and 128cm
  3. The chest must be 82cm with 5cm of expansion.

 

For Female

  1. Must have 162.5cm height
  2. Must have leg length in between 99 and 120cm]

 

Selection process:

 

The selection is done on the basis of Pilot Aptitude Battery (PAB) test. Then, short list id made on that basis. Selected candidates call for the following:

a)      Intelligence Test

b)      Psychological Test

c)      Group Tests

d)      Interview

 

Then, candidate must clear the medical test.
