IGNOU stands for Indira Gandhi National Open University. This university is set up in Delhi in 1985. this university conducts the IGNOU OPENMAT in two in a year for the admission in various degree and diploma management programs. IGNOU provides the admission to 21 MBA courses.
OPENMAT 2009 Eligibility
- Must have Bachelor degree from any side from any recognized university.
- If the candidate doesn't have a degree, then it need 6 years job in managerial post
- There is no age limit.

1. Master of Business Administration (MBA)
2. Diploma in Management (DIM)
3. Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM)
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management (PGDHRM)
5. Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management (PGSEM)
6. Post Graduate Diploma in Operations Management (PGDOM)
7. Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM)
OPENMAT 2009 Examination pattern:
The exam will held in 3 hours. The exam includes 200 MCQs in 4 sections. The sections are:
a) General Awareness 30
b) English Language 50
c) Quantitative Aptitude 50
d) Reasoning 70
OPENMAT 2009 Important dates:
1. Last date for submission of completed application forms: 15-07-2009
2. You can take the admission in the university up to January 2010.
3. You need to deposit your result card and your required documents latest: 30-11-2009
4. The application forms will be made available: November 2008
OPENMAT 2009 How to apply:
The application form can be taken from various study centres, regional centres, ignou army, air force, navy and Assam rifles centres by end of November.
