XIMB stands for Xavier Institute of Management and situated in Bhubaneswar. It provides the high quality education to the students aspiring for PGDM, PGDMRM and Doctoral Level Fellow Program in Management. XIMB provides admission to part time and full time management courses. The admission is based on the XAT and IRMA Test.

2. Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)

3. Postgraduate Diploma in Management for working executives (PGDM-PT)

4. Doctoral Level Fellow Program in Management (FPM)

 

Eligibility

 

1. For PGDM and PGDRM: Must have bachelor degree in any field.
2. For PGDM-PT: Bachelor degree in any field + 3 years if working in public, private or non-governmental sector
3. For FPM: Must have master degree in any field with 55% marks or graduate + 2 years experience.

 

Important dates:

 

1. Filling of Online application forms: Sep to Dec 08

2. Date of IRMA Test for admission to PGDRM: 9-11-08

3. Date of XAT for admission to PGDM/PGDM-RM/FPM: 04-01-09

4. Date of XIMB test for FPM: 3-01-09

5. Group Discussion & Interview: First week of Feb

6. Announcement of final admission results: Last week of March

7. Beginning of new academic session: Middle of June

 

Selection process:

 

1. PGDM – based on XAT, GD, PI, work experience and previous record.

2. PGDRM – based on IRMA or XAT, GD, PI, work experience and previous record.

3. PGDM-PT – based on past academic performance and work experience.

4. FPM – based on CAT, UGC NET, XAT, or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT)
