TNPSC stands for Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission. It was set up in 1923. Each Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission examination is held for admission to various courses. The exam is for the admission is for the post of Horticultural Officer.

 

TNPSC 2009 Eligibility

 

1. Must be under 30 years of age.
2. 32 years of age, is for the candidates hold a post graduate degree
3. There is no age limit for the SC/ST.

 

TNPSC 2009 Important dates:

 

1. Availability of application forms: 3rd week of September

2. Last for the submission of completed application forms: 3rd week of October

3. Date of entrance examination and the timings will be from 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M.: 21-12-08

 

TNPSC 2009 Examination pattern

 

The exam is held of 3 hours and of 300 questions and oral test will be 40. The exam is conducted in 2 parts. 1^st is of Written and 2^nd is of interviews.
