XIMB stands for Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar. It conducts Aptitude Test better called XIMB-RAT each year for the admission in fellow program in management (FPM). That is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This course aim is to provide management field.
Eligibility
- Must have PG course with 55% marks.
- Must have at least 2 years of working experience
- Candidates with better academic record and managerial experience will be given preference.
Examination pattern
The exam will be of 120 minutes and allow 3 sections as 30, 45, 45 minutes respectively. The 1st section is A (5 marks) of write about yourself and your thoughts and perspectives. 2nd section is B (10 marks) of writing skills. 3rd section is C (30 marks) of reasoning and data interpretation skills. There is no negative marking.

1. Filling of Online application forms: Sep to Dec 08
2. Date of XIMB test for FPM: 3-01-09
3. Availability of CAT forms from axis banks: 14-07-08 to 08-08-08
4. The date of CAT and timings are from 10:00am to 1:00pm: 16-11-08
5. Availability of XAT prospectus: 01-09-08 to 30-11-08
6. XAT exam date and timings are 10:00am to 12:30pm: 04-01-09
Selection process:
Candidate needs to give any of the following examinations CAT, UGC NET, XAT, or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT). CAT and XAT scores are valid for a period of 5 years.
